For more than 35 years, I’ve worked with farmers, Cooperative Extension educators, students, community members, and government partners. Early on, that meant newsletters in the mail, newspaper articles, and in-person meetings. As technology advanced, communication expanded through email and social media. No matter the method, communication was always at the heart of my work.
In my conversations with many of you, I’ve heard how important it is to know what your town government is doing—and how often that information has been missing. If elected as your Town Supervisor, I pledge to use my experience to keep you informed. Recognizing that people learn in different ways, I will share updates in multiple forms: in person, in writing, on the town website, and through social media. And as technology continues to evolve, I will embrace new tools to make communication even stronger.
But effective communication is never one-way. For our town to provide the best possible services, your voice needs to be heard. That’s why, in addition to holding regular office hours, I will make myself accessible through meetings in your neighborhoods and annual visits to our local businesses.
This is my New Vision for a Thriving Community: two-way communication that strengthens problem-solving and deepens our sense of community. On November 4, I ask for your vote for Town Supervisor so together we can bring this vision to life.
